Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Status
Eurolab International Group has worked hard to expand its activities, increase efficiency, and make our company one of the most transparent in Albania and the region.
For this reason, the Albanian Customs Authority granted Eurolab the "Trusted Status" among 8 other companies: Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) since December 2021. The AEO status is based on international standards and is also recognized in CEFTA countries.
What does this mean in practical terms for Eurolab?
⦁ Simplified customs procedures in Albania and CEFTA countries
⦁ Opportunity to use warehouse spaces inside and outside the Customs Zone
⦁ Reduction of required guarantees, simplification of transit procedures, etc.
To obtain the above-mentioned status, Eurolab fulfilled and was subject to control and monitoring based on criteria such as: no violations of customs or fiscal rules, established functional organization and professional staff, positive transport history at customs, consolidated trade chain, full traceability and control, payment capacity, safety and health standards at work, etc.
